Atlanta
Pittsburgh
Cincinnati
Cubs

In other news, the Houston Astros lost to the Los Angeles Angels 3-0 at Daikin Park yesterday. As we all know, that means the Astros won’t be able to sell beer there for the rest of the season…

…because they lost the home opener.

(Thank you. I’ll be here all season. Try the veal and remember to tip your waitress.)

Hey, the Detroit Tigers appear to be in first place. Not that I will be able to watch many of their games this year. Seems like they are only broadcasting games on a network that costs 20 bucks a month. I refuse to pay for the privilege of watching a game plus get to watch some ridiculous online poker commercials. It is just a matter of principle. Or it could be that I am a cheap old goat.
In other news, I saw that J and G Sales has Czech CZ-82 pistols on sale for $199.99. I think they have 12 round, blued magazines in VG condition for about 30 bucks.
The guns come with a mag, a holster, and a mag pouch, plus I thought that they said that they had hand select available.

The chaos over MLB TV rights is, I think, one of the great recent sports stories that hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention. Only Awful Announcing seems to be covering it well.

To the extent I am following baseball this year, my rooting interests are:

    1) Cleveland, because I think they’re due (and family).
    2) My Cubs. (But I’m not betting with Lawrence, because I think that joke is used up.)
    3) Detroit, because it will make you happy if they win.

Thanks for the tip on J&G Sales! I plan to order a couple of magazines as soon as I finish this reply.

  3. […] to a tip from FotB pigpen51, we have learned that J&G Sales also has CZ 82 pistols for $199.95. Or about four cents […]
