Just in case you were wondering.

List of fatal cougar attacks in North America.

(You know, I have categories for reptiles, horses, primates, and spiders. Do I need a “cat” category? If so, should I have a “dog” category too? Perhaps “mammals” and make horses, cats, dogs, and primates subsets of that?)

(Explained.)

Chapter 2 is about bears. There’s also a chapter on bison.

It’s a fascinating book. I picked it up at a gift shop in Grand Teton. Glanced at the first page and was hooked.

That does sound like a great book. Thanks for the recommendation; I will keep an eye open for it.

There is a similar book that pops up from time to time at Half-Price: Over the Edge: Death in Grand Canyon. I’d like to pick that up as well, but the copies I’ve found have generally not been in good enough condition to justify the asking price.
