Wild, wildlife.

Residents in Sunset Valley are being warned by city officials to keep their dogs away from the nature trails due to increased coyote activity in the area.

(For folks unfamiliar with Austin, Sunset Valley is an independent municipality located on the south side of town.)

Gee, if only there was some other solution to the problem of coyotes attacking dogs

  1. That Guy says:

I’m not far from there. Heard them singing over the back fence the other night. drove the dog nuts.

  2. stainles says:

I haven’t heard the coyotes yet.

But I did have a buck cross in front of me the other morning as I was pulling out of the apartment complex. I’m used to deer in the general neighborhood, but more to the south of me, closer to 2222 and Mesa where the houses are. Not as much so around the apartment complexes.

(The horns were not that great, since I was on my way to work I wasn’t packing, I don’t have a hunting license, and I couldn’t have made a safe shot anyway.)
