But I did want to mention this <strong>WP <\/strong>story about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/2011\/06\/06\/AGh2i5XH_story.html\">Brighter Days, an anarchist dog walking cooperative.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes, you read that correctly. Brighter Days is apparently <strong>not<\/strong> the only anarchist dog walking cooperative in the DC area (as the result of a bitter split between the founders), but the <strong>WP<\/strong> implies that it is the most successful ($250,000 gross last year: there&#8217;s no net figure given, but the collective is apparently able to offer health insurance and paid vacation).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/2011\/06\/06\/AGh2i5XH_story_1.html\">It\u2019s harder still for Seager, because he wears black most of the time.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/2011\/06\/06\/AGh2i5XH_story_1.html\">\u201cI need more white shirts,\u201d Seager says. \u201cI just so despise the concept of fashion.\u201d Worrying about clothing is, at best, \u201cone of the least-interesting human pursuits\u201d and, at worst, \u201cembarrassingly pathetic,\u201d Seager says.<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiddenagenda.org\/hiddenagenda\/HAreview.html\">Hidden Agenda<\/a>, call your office, please.<\/p>\n<p>(<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%E2%80%94We_Also_Walk_Dogs\">Probably unnecessary subject line hattip.<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Still busy.
